ISIS or is it not?

CNN have stopped talking for once.  They have even withdrawn from public view all video footage of their British correspondent Lucy Pawle’s rather funny faux pas on camera covering London’s Gay Pride Parade on Saturday. Pawle had caught sight of a photo of the black and white flag in the midst of the colorful parade, citing it as being an ISIS flag and she commented ‘This man — quite distinctive from the rest of the crowd, he was dressed in black and white where as everyone else was brightly colored — this man dressed in black and white was waving what appears to be a very bad mimicry, but a clear attempt to mimic the ISIS flag.’ She then added ‘If you look at the flag closely, it's clearly not Arabic, in fact it looks like it could be gobbledygook.'

It turns out that the "gobbledygook" she was referring to was actually a series of drawings of sex toys including several large dildos, and not a symbol for the terrorist organization.

No-one had evidently warned her that one of the many talents of the gay community is parody.
