Margaret Cho says F--K fashion and 'designers' that body shame.

In one of the better pourings of disgust to the homophobic and misogynistic remarks from the Patrick Couderc the UK Managing Director of the Herve Leger fashion brand in an interview with 'The Daily Mail', outspoken comedian Margaret Cho summed it up perfectly on twitter with 'Fuck fashion and designers that body shame.'

Couderc gave a list of the types of women that he believes should not wear Leger's ubiquitous skinny 'bandage' dresses which retail up from $1500 to $6000. His 'don't even think about trying them on list' includes voluptuous women, and women with 'very prominent hips and a very flat chest' and gay women. If that wasn't bad enough Couderc made sure to spell out his insidious homophobia by adding 'If you’re a committed lesbian and you are wearing trousers all your life, you won’t want to buy a Leger dress. Lesbians would want to be rather butch and leisurely."

The best selling feminist writer Kathy Lette hit it on the nail with her response on Twitter 'Herve Leger boss will need his OWN bandages after saying that.....' We know however this will not the last we here about this as the #boycottherveleger campaign has only just begun.
